Hesacore Grip Guide

Two Choices.
One Perfect Grip.

Choosing your Hesacore is a two-step process. First pick your grip type, then pick your thickness. They're completely independent decisions.

Choose Your Grip

Each Hesacore grip has a different feel and material profile. This choice is about how you want the paddle to feel in your hand — not how thick it is.

Grip Type

The feel, stiffness, and material of the grip. Soft, firm, or somewhere in between. This affects vibration absorption and feedback.

VS

Grip Thickness

How thick the grip material is — XS, S, or M. This is determined by your current handle setup, not personal preference.

Choose Your Thickness

Hesacore thickness refers to the grip material — not the length of your handle. The right thickness keeps your current setup feeling exactly the same.

Key concept: Hesacore replaces your stock grip. Because we're replacing what's already there, the goal is to recreate the same total thickness you're used to. The number of overgrips you currently use tells us exactly which thickness to choose.

Find Your Thickness

How many overgrips do you normally use on top of your stock grip?

Recommended thickness for you
XS
1.0 mm thick
The thinnest option. Closest to a bare handle feel. Maximum direct feedback.
Use with 0–1 overgrips
S
1.5 mm thick
The most versatile thickness. Works for almost everyone starting out with Hesacore.
Use with 0–1 overgrips
M
2.0 mm thick
For players who prefer a thicker grip setup or use multiple overgrips.
Use with 2–3 overgrips

Longer Handle?

You Need The
Elongated Grip.

The Hesacore Elongated Grip is designed specifically for pickleball paddles with longer handles. At 6 inches — 0.75 inches longer than the standard Hesacore grip — it covers the full handle so every inch of your hand is in contact with the hexagonal structure.

Is This You?

Choose Elongated If...

Your paddle has a longer handle
Paddles with extended handles leave a gap with standard grips. The Elongated fills every inch of your handle.
You want full hexagonal coverage
Every part of your hand touches the ergonomic hexagonal structure — no gap at the top of the grip.
You use a two-handed backhand
The extra length gives your non-dominant hand a solid hexagonal surface to grip during two-handed shots.
